We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Project Manager to join our team in Bedford, NH. The Project Manager will work closely with a team of engineers supporting natural gas, renewable natural gas, and hydrogen projects. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals and clients, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions – What You Will Do
- Successfully manage design projects in the Natural Gas Sector; focusing on metering, regulation, liquefied natural gas, renewable natural gas and compressed natural gas facilities.
- Maintain technical proficiency in the following to support review and management of:
- Process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Code compliance of industry specific codes (e.g., 49 CFR 192/193, NFPA 59A, ASME B31.3, others).
- System evaluation/design via process simulation software.
- Written specifications for equipment and materials.
- Piping design drawings and equipment general arrangement drawings.
- Valve and mechanical component sizing, including relief valves.
- Process equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, boilers, pumps) sizing.
- Line sizing, wall thickness, and flexibility/pipe stress calculations.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships, built through collaborative and responsive interactions.
- Prepare written reports documenting analyses, designs, and assessments.
- Prepare plant documentation, such as operating & maintenance procedures, purging procedures, as-built drawings, training documents, and risk management plans.
- Perform site visits to utility and industrial client facilities to review existing conditions and lead technical and project review meetings with the client.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Develop Proposals, including scope of work, schedule, and fee estimate in response to client requests.
- Support business development efforts, including relationship building and participation in industry associations and events.
- Lead project meetings with clients/project stakeholders to provide overall progress status, review technical aspects of the project, and provide budget and schedule updates.
- Mentor junior staff to develop their technical and project management skills and instill good consulting practices to support their growth in the firm.

Competencies – What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of six (6) to ten (10) years relevant experience and a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Energy Focus).
- Possess or be working toward Professional Engineering Registration/Licensure.
- Experience with natural gas and liquefied natural gas.
- Understanding of asset integrity management programs.
- Experience with risk management and process safety.
- Solid understanding of Process Design.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
